Fashion Show organised by The Beauty College

Students and staff of Callington Community College took to the catwalk for a Charity Fashion Show in February 2011

The event, an evening of fashion and entertainment, was organised by a group of Level 3 NVQ Beauty Therapy students studying at the Beauty College, and their teachers Lindsay Williams and Ann Harbottle.

The models were students from Years 11 and 13 and they were very elegnat on the night walking the catwalk to the music.  Many members of staff were also models for the evening and also did a great job.  Models wore fashions from local businesses Little Black Dress in Saltash and Colin's Bridals of Callington.  Photographs were professionally taken by Rob Frost Photography.  If you would like copies of any of the photographs please contact him on 01579 346878 or visit the website on www.robfrostphotography.com to view other photographs.

The students that organised the event arranged the models hair to be styled by local salon Head 2 Head.  Many local businesses supported the event by supplying raffle prizes for the evening and the Co-op Callington kindly provided the drinks for the evening.

The event was a huge success and raised over £1000 for the chosen good causes, Help For Heroes and the Callington Community College 2011 Borneo Expedition.  We would like to thank everyone for coming and helping to make it such a successful event, we would also like to thank everyone that helped us in arranging the evening.

Our aim of the evening was to raise the profile of the Beauty College, and we would like to remind you that we always need customers - please contact us on 01579 386011 to book an appointment or find out what treatments are available.
